The Gale and Ira Drukier Lecture in Children’s Health was established in 2014 by the Drukier Institute and highlights research and discoveries that have contributed to exceptional advances in the field of pediatric health. Since its establishment, there have been four Drukier Lectures in Children’s Health, which were delivered by the following physician-investigators:
Alain Fischer, MD, PhD, Director, Hematology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases Division, Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital, Paris France; Chair of Experimental Medicine College de France, Paris, France (2019), for his contributions to advancing cures for children with immunodeficiencies using Gene Therapy.
